How we help Veterans take the NEXT STEP
Direct Aid for Immediate Needs
We’re here to provide Halifax, MA, veterans with bureaucracy-free support for life’s urgent needs, like a leaking roof, car repair, or heating oil. Through a support fund, we’ll step in when we can to offer practical help—always vet-first, always straightforward. While we’re starting small in Halifax and funds may be limited, our goal is to grow this support across Massachusetts and nationwide, ensuring no veteran in crisis is left behind. We’ll be transparent: aid depends on available resources and financial situation, but we’re committed to doing what we can when we can, as we scale.
Any aid is contingent upon the organization's available funds, financial status of the Veteran, and is subjected to board approval.

Mental Health Guidance and Resources
We’re dedicated to supporting Halifax, MA, Veterans by breaking mental health stigma and battling veteran suicide—where over17 lives are lost daily, a number we’re fighting to help change.
Led by Lauren Littlefield, our Director of Mental Health, we partner with a vast network of professionals to offer workshops on mental health and suicide awareness, training our community to spot warning signs and save lives. We’ll host mental health screening sessions using tools like the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) to evaluate suicide risk and overall well-being. We’ll provide clear, compassionate guidance on the next steps, directing veterans to the right care, such as the VA Crisis Line (988) or local providers, ensuring they’re never alone.
Starting in Halifax, we aim to expand across Massachusetts and beyond to reach as many Veterans as possible.
End the stigma. End Veteran Suicide.
Building a Strong Network of Support
We’re building a powerful network of volunteers, partners, and local businesses—like HVAC technicians, roofing, auto mechanics, and more—who support Veterans, especially our elderly population, so they’re never taken advantage of.
By teaming up with trusted professionals, we ensure Veterans get reliable, fair services when in need, whether it’s a home repair or car fix, financial advice, or just guidance through this journey we call life. Starting in Halifax, we’re working to expand this network across Massachusetts and, eventually, the country, creating a safety net of support for as many Veterans as we can reach.
Starting in Halifax.
Building to grow beyond.

““Mental health is as vital as physical strength for our veterans—supporting their minds is supporting their service.””
